One could say Yendry Ventura’s journey to the top of Abu Dhabi’s healthcare innovation scene can be traced back to a passion rooted in his genetics. Growing up in Cuba, he was influenced by his mother’s impactful career in humanitarian work, which inspired him to pursue medicine in her honour. Over time, his growing interest in the business side of healthcare motivated him to further shape his career with a master’s degree.

In February, five Carey students won first place at the Washington, DC-Baltimore area CFA Institute Research Challenge and advanced to the sub-regional round — this was Carey’s sixth win in the last eight competitions.
“The hands-on learning from professors with real industry experience gave me the practical skills to stand out in my career, ultimately helping me become the youngest Human Resources Director at Neusoft Group,” says Teng Xinyang, an MS in Marketing graduate. “The programme’s focus on agile learning, innovation, and presentation skills has been key in my success, from leading AI-driven HR initiatives to speaking in front of thousands of people.”
